After stumbling across Satori on instagram one afternoon, we knew we had to taste the new vegan sushi in town. We were blown away by their unique, mouthwatering rolls, and even more impressed by the awesome people behind the sushi. What a blessing to have Satori as one of our new favorite food trucks here on Maui.

After scrolling through Shelter Cafe’s mouthwatering Instagram feed, we couldn’t wait to visit them during our stay in Seminyak. We are happy to report that the hype is real. We were coming off an amazing couple of days exploring Nusa Pedina. The island was one of the most beautiful we’d ever seen, and we spent long days driving on crazy dirt roads, climbing down cliff sides to deserted beaches and spending one afternoon searching for the drone after it crashed into a mountain. Needless to say, we were exhausted and our diet had been consisting of mainly authentic Indonesian dishes, so tons of rice and noodles, and we were craving something FRESH. CHAI’BA | INDIA MEETS BALI

Every once in a blue moon, you come across a dining experience that just leaves you speechless. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does.. it’s a moment to savor. Chai’Ba Street Kitchen and Bar was one of those experiences. We weren’t anticipating eating the best Indian food of our lives on a small island in Indonesia, and it caught us off guard.

The tastes of Thailand are what I long for most, after having spent a month in the beautiful country earlier this summer. I loved how easily accessible it was to find delicious vegan and vegetarian fare no matter where I was. What a gift and a surprise to find the flavors of northern Thailand on the shores of the Philippines, in the little town of El Nido.

Big Bad Thai Bistro and Bar is a collaboration brought to life by a man named Nelly from Serbia and his beautiful fiancé Apple from the mountains of northern Thailand.

SAGE BALI | VIBRANT VEGAN CUISINE

Before heading to Ubud, we were told, “you HAVE to try Sage” more than a handful of times, so we were very excited for our lunch at this popular plant based restaurant, and even more excited to sit down with the owner to chat about how it all began, life in Bali and what’s next for the restaurant known for its vibrant vegan cuisine.

Sage is a charming and cozy restaurant located on Jalan Nyuh Bulan. Open for 3 years now, they’ve become a staple in the Ubud vegan community, one of those places that keeps you coming back again and again.

Great food is amazing, but great food with a cause behind it is much more meaningful. Mano Beach House not only offers extraordinary food and front row sunset views, but its completely locally owned and operated, which made us fall even more in love with this establishment. If you're in the Seminyak area, this restaurant isn’t to be missed.

HAPPINESS BEACH BAR

You will find Happiness Beach Bar on one of the main roads of this little beach town, its impossible to miss. Complete with swings at the bar instead of boring stools, the ambiance has a fun and playful vibe that keeps people coming back for more.
